Meet Our Faculty
Sean Chiles, LMT: Sean is a practicing massage therapist who graduated from MTIC. He teaches Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. He is also a certified yoga instructor. He is passionate about helping students learn anatomy and become massage therapists.
Erica Craven-Lyons: BA, LMT: Erica Graduated from MTIC in 2006, and has extensive training in structural work and Thai massage. She teaches bodywork, Thai massage and Yoga at MTIC. She is also a certified yoga instuctor. Erica’s compassionate, holistic approach to massage is inspirational to students.
Patrick Cross, LMT, CNT: Patrick received his training through MTIC and the Upledger Institute, and is certified in performance nutrition through the International Science Association. He teaches bodywork and sports massage and is the Director of the Student Clinic at MTIC and Inner City Health Hospital. He also has a private practice in Denver, works with the therapy team for the Denver Broncos and is an onsite therapist for numerous athletic events.
Doug Drummond, BA, LMT: Doug teaches bodywork and Physical Assessment. He graduated from MTIC in 2006 and specializes in structural work. He also enjoys being a stagehand, rigger, events manager, and handyman.
John Dunkelman, BA, MBA, LMT: John has taught bodywork classes at MTIC since 2008. A graduate of MTIC, John has passionately pursued advanced training in structural, therapeutic and medical massage techniques. He loves to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with his students.
Chris Grider, BFA, LMT: Formerly a professional dancer, Chris graduated from MTIC in 2009. He is also Body Talk and Reiki II certified. Chris has served MTIC in many roles, both in admin and as faculty, and is currently teaching bodywork. When not at school, he works at Body Massage Wellness Spa and has a private practice as well. Chris says that, “A major component of my approach to my work is developing my abilities as a compassionate, skilled, and effective listener. ”
Lynda Kelley, BA, MFA, LMT: Lynda graduated from MTIC in 2005. Since then, she has added training in medical massage, structural integration and much more. As a dance and aerialist, Lynda brings a detailed understanding of how the body works to the bodywork classes she teaches so passionately.
Sara Kieser, LMT: Sara is a graduate of MTIC who has been part of our teaching community since she competed the program. She is a bodywork teacher as well as the Faculty Coordinator. Sara’s knowledge of the body and her expertise in massage techniques make her a valuable member of our faculty.
Robin Lewis, LMT: One of our most experienced teachers, Robin has been part of our MTIC family since 1996. She is an expert in manual therapies, including myofascial therapy, meridian therapy and postural integration. She has also earned a certificate in Functional Neurology for Bodywork. In addition to her private practice, Robin teaches bodywork at MTIC and is the Director of Bodywork.
Kellen Smith, BS, LMT: Kellen completed his certification at MTIC and is one of MTIC’s Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology teachers. Kellen has done extensive training in A & P, and brings his experience in private massage practice to his teachings.
Aaryn Wika, BS, LMT: Aaryn is a one of our dedicated Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology teachers. She has background in radiologic technology, reflexotherapy, lymphatic drainage techniques, Healing Touch and MRI Certification. She is also a practicing massage therapist and is passionate about bringing her knowledge and skills to the classroom.
