Many of our graduates have had the opportunity to bring real world experience to
their practice and test out their education from Mark Manton and the MTIC faculty.
Here’s what a few of them have to say:
“MTIC is an excellent program. I Graduated in 2000 and have been
successful in the field. I am amazed at the lack of training so many of my peers have compared
to what I received at MTIC. Thank you for preparing me for this demanding
career. I love it.”
Donna – La Veta, CO
“Since January 2005, I have been working with a group, Helping Hand
Injury Recovery Center (HHIC), here in Fort Collins that specializes in
medically oriented massage. We get referrals from local doctors, both
traditional and alternative, and from some local businesses' workman's
compensation programs. And, of course, word of mouth. Although I am not an
employee at HHIC and I pay rent for my room, I was screened as a potential
staff member by an interview and a sample massage. The treatment protocols
and the overall therapeutic orientation I received at MTIC was invaluable to
me in this process.”
Jane – Fort Collins, CO
“I am always so proud to say I went to MTIC. There is a great
reputation out there, and people automatically know I am a great massage
therapist when I say where I went to school.
Stephanie – Denver, CO
“I thank you (Mark Manton) for showing me the path that has been very
kind to me in the past seven years. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t appreciate being
taught by you. Thank you for sharing your talents.”
Gustave – Highlands Ranch, CO
“…After my second contract (finished in July) I spent a wonderful month in
Portugal and Spain with my friends then some precious time in Ireland as
well. I am going back to ships in February, starting my contract on Feb 8th on the Serenade
of the Seas (Royal Caribbean). Remember that you all have planted
a little flower in my heart that is blooming there, each of you have made a
significant difference in my life.”
Krisztina – Hungary
“I wanted to pass on buckets of gratitude from my client. He has multiple diagnoses and
complications, including peripheral neuropathy. He told me today that JROM/PNF was responsible for his
regaining a better gait and balance in walking. And he had all but given up on ever walking with
any normalcy again. He sees a physical therapist too, but he is certain that it is the PNF (especially
ballet toes PNF) that has made all the difference. I want to express barrels of appreciation and esteem
for your many perfections as a teacher and human being! You left more than many impressions and I will
track them for more than many years to come.”
Jane – Fort Collins, CO
“ What you (Mark Manton) said about massage being both the art and dance of healing really
touched me. I was inspired, and proud to have been a student of yours! Whenever people indicate
an interest in Massage Therapy, I tell them how much I loved my school, and how much I recommend it and you.”
“…I miss that building, and going there both to class and to work. If I lived
closer, I would love to work there again (teaching or something). MTIC and the whole place holds a very healing
energy for me. And some powerful memories, too.”
Stephanie - Hudson, CO
