An Established History of Intensive Training
Since 1986, Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado (MTIC) has offered
students intensive training in the field of massage therapy.
We train students to be professionals. We teach effective therapeutic
massage as well as a wide range of supporting skills to help meet the
demands placed on massage therapists today.
Maintaining High Standards

personal attention.

students to develop to their potential.

Frequent evaluations, regular class work and clinical
practice sessions further ensure a complete and comprehensive program.
Our Goal
MTIC’s goal is to train students who want to work toward excellence
in the growing field of bodywork. We emphasize integrative and remedial
skills that are useful in clinical settings for the treatment and alleviation
of chronic pain, stress disorders, soft tissue strain, and systemic imbalances.
A Wide Range of Techniques
A wide range of massage techniques and skills are presented with the
intention of developing sufficient skill to use these techniques with
an appropriate level of proficiency and expertise demanded of a massage
therapist in professional practice.
A Wide Range of Professional Settings
Students are trained to work in a general massage therapy practice
that typically is used for stress reduction, health maintenance and increased
well-being.
These services are frequently offered to athletic clubs and teams,
resorts, health spas, beauty spas, wellness centers, corporate health
centers and various health-oriented groups and service centers.
