Kath Martin, BA, CMT, RYT,
MTIC Anatomy instructor, yoga module teacher, and "Enrichment
Tutoring Progam" coordinator. A 1997 honors graduate of MTIC,
Kath thrives with a private practice and yoga classes. "As a
teacher, my passion is to awaken students to their own power,
their own gifts, so they can truly know the structure and
function of the body through the "felt sense" of their own
experience. Through the body-mind connection (rather than
just rote memorization), students practice the "seven ways"
required to store long-term memory and inspire an informed &
intuitive bodywork practice. We use every sense through lectures,
auditory and palpatory drills, clay muscle building, drawing
and multi-media presentations to stimulate and establish the
enduring associations between memory & experience, thought &
pattern, between form and function." "I believe all you need in this life
to succeed and grow is always already within you through the felt
experiences of your body, mind and spirit. Anything and everything is possible, limited only by your patterns and perceptions. All you need do is "breathe, relax, feel, watch and allow
whatever sensations or life experiences arise from the tissues in your body to the thought patterns of your mind and the energetic flow of your life force."

Lloyd Mills, CMT,
MTIC Anatomy &
Myofacial Kinesiology module Instructor. He
brings a varied background to his teachings
including nursing, chemistry, anthropology and
martial arts. He specializes in Physiology. "I
believe that education is a personal responsibility,
as high a priority as breathing and taking in
nutrition. I believe that education should be
exciting, entertaining and engaging. There must
be a mutual commitment between the teacher
and student to reach their own goals and attempt
to exceed them. I feel that education must be
made accessible for any who come with a sincere
intention to learn. We are wondrously made
in a fantastic universe and that is what I seek to
learn about and share with others".

Alejandro Morin, BS, CMT, MTIC Student
Clinic Supervisor/Anatomy Instructor received
his BS in Aerospace Engineering in 1995 and is
a Year I & Year II MTIC graduate. Alejandro has
his own private practice. "I focus on the facilitation
aspect of teaching. As a teacher, anything I
might say or do facilitates the understanding that is
available within each person. This is one way for me
to acknowledge that each person has their own wisdom
and insight, and also, their own way of understanding
something. While this philosophy does not
apply to my approach to testing material, it is a
doorway for me to try to help everyone understand
the basics. I believe in learning as an instructor so I
am as much a student as any other student".

Gigi Willett,
CMT, MTIC Anatomy Instructor
"I appreciate the process it takes to become a professional
in the field of bodywork. Having trained with
Mark Manton, I know the difference it makes to
have a supportive, motivating and encouraging mentor.
I enjoy modeling these same attributes with my
own students, and encourage them toward excellence
as bodywork professionals. My motivation to teach
comes from a passion to continually deepen my
knowledge of the human body and to share these discoveries
with others".

Hermine Kallman CMT,
MTIC Anatomy Instructor
and a Teaching Assistant. "My teaching philosophy
can be summarized in one word: inspire. Inspire
curiosity, inspire a question, inspire a comment and
an overwhelming desire to find out more, to learn, to
share, to make it your own. I believe in getting people
excited about what they are learning. I work to
turn the class curriculum, tests and quizzes into a
journey of exploration and discovery, and the
exchange of ideas. I help people to take pride in
what they do, what they learn and what they can
share".
